7th Recognition Ceremony and Fellowship Celebration

On its 43rd year of reaching out and bridging the gap between those who have and those who have less in life, the Sambayan Educational Foundation, Inc. (SEFI) held a recognition program to twelve endowers to the foundation. It was an occasion well-attended on February 28, 2015. The affair started with a Eucharistic Celebration officiated by Fr. Emmanuel “Nono” Alfonso S.J. “ Transformation! Go down to the roots” was the call of his homily. The STC Choir sang melodiously during the Mass. The welcome message of Sr. Josefina Nebres, ICM initiated the recognition ceremony. The program was made colourful and awesome with the intermission numbers of Radaic Ballet School of STC Q.C. and

the U.P. Concert Chorus. The testimony of two former SEFI beneficiaries from HS Batch 1990 gave very touching and impressive accounts on how SEFI made it possible for them to become the very successful professionals they are today. They conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to all the donors. These are only two of the over two thousand graduates who proved that SEFI never ceased in improving the lives of the grantees and their families as well.
